Privacy & trust
Putting your money and family life into an app is a big ask, especially one built by someone you know. Here is exactly how your information is handled, in plain words. No fine print.
Fettlo never connects to your bank. There is nothing to log into, nothing to steal, and no outside company pulling your transactions. You type in what you want to track, so you are always in control of what you put in. Use round numbers, skip anything sensitive, or leave the money features off completely and just use tasks, calendar, and chores.
Every household in Fettlo is kept separate from every other one. Another person using Fettlo cannot see your accounts, your bills, or anything else you enter. This is built into how the app works, not a setting you have to remember to turn on.
Straight answer. The tools used to run Fettlo show how many people signed up and whether the app is working. They do not show your actual numbers. We can see that a household is tracking some bills. We cannot see what they are or what they cost. And to be fully honest: like the team behind any app you use, whoever runs the database can technically reach what is in it. Fettlo is built not to put your details in front of anyone, and nobody here is interested in your grocery bill. If that still feels like a lot of trust to give, that is exactly why there are no bank logins. You never have to enter anything you are not comfortable with.
Your information is not a product. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. There is no data-mining business hiding behind this.
Your accounts, notes, and documents stay private to you unless you choose to share them. Even inside your own household you decide what your partner or your kids can see. Sharing is always something you turn on, never the default.
Documents and health records you upload are stored privately. They are not sitting on public links that anyone could stumble onto.
Fettlo is an early product built by a real person, not a giant company mining your information. We would rather tell you exactly how things work than dress it up with buzzwords. If something here is not clear, ask and you will get a straight answer.
Have a question we did not answer here?
Ask directly and you will get an honest answer.
